November 4, 2022 - Four hour slow ox. Very deep dark electric magenta color. Boysenberry jam and charred corn on the cob on the nose. Smooth, tongue drying palate. Firm, full tannins on the longish finish.
I really should have decanted this. The slow ox didn’t do it justice. Came across as very Syrah-like.
