May 14, 2024 - This bottle was flat with little power or personality. Still good fruit, but not much else. A disappointment but still worth 88 points. Shows the quality of the juice they produce!

October 9, 2023 - Deep, charred, and aromatic dark fruit frames earthy scents of licorice, leather, veneer, and menthol. Youthfully structured, good brightness and balance, with plump fruit flavors that linger nicely.

Blueberry, blackberry, black cherry, red cherry, charred wood, menthol, coffee, potting soil, dried red cherry, raspberry leather, vanilla, baking spice. Color: Medium Ruby, almost deep. Aromatic Intensity: Medium(+), verging on high. Sweetness: Dry. Acidity: Medium. Tannin Level: Medium. Tannin Nature: Ripe, Smooth. Alcohol: High. Body: Medium (+). Flavor Intensity: Medium (+). Finish: Medium. Quality: Very Good. Aging: Suitable for aging.
April 9, 2023 - Worth well more then the $44 into my cellar. I should have had the bottle from the wine cellar for an hour or so to achieve room temperature. All in all an excellent wine.
March 12, 2023 - Very creamy bouquet with fruit yoghurt. On the palate a round wine with red berries, oak and cedar, caramel, good acidity and round tannin with some sweetness in the finish and a good length.
February 22, 2023 - Initially,upon opening, all I could smell/taste was bing cherry. After 20 minutes, black licorice notes as well. Became a bit more complex. The remainder was decanted.
November 29, 2022 - A little closed now, even after an hour. Dark fruit on the palate, not much spice for a Zin. Could use more age.
May 28, 2022 - Bottle aging has helped tremendously. Well-balanced, more sophisticated than powerful. Hits all the right notes without having any particularly strong components. Cherry fruit, a hint of spice, some tobacco and leather notes as well as some earth.
February 13, 2022 - No decant, just straight consumption. Quite fruity. Initially I tasted a hint of oak, but over time that seemed to fade. Feel like there is complexity in there waiting to present itself with age.
