March 24, 2023 - Ben - I agree, if I focus on it there may be a touch of smoke taint on the finish. But it is so small I am not sure if it a negative or a bit of complexity.
Overall, this is a perfect choice if not sure if a white or red would be best - with so much much more enjoyment factor than a typical rose. -

November 26, 2021 - The Fourth Annual World’s Largest Blind Tasting of American Pinot Noir: Retail $28. Under screw top. Dark color and aromas with black cherry and a slight lavender aspect that seems out of place. The palate, once again, is another story. Good fruit (dark), nice acidity, and a wonderful balance. Lovely.
