    April 6, 2024 - No formal notes.

A delicious rosé that's on the slightly fuller and richer side. Still very much alive despite its age. No smoke taint or smoky accents in my bottle either.

September 25, 2023 - Bottle #2. Wow what a difference. This is a really fine and beautifully textured rosé, more like a white burgundy, a bit of something malolactic maybe with a stony streak running through. Absolutely gorgeous. I cannot believe this is the same wine.

April 26, 2023 - I can’t be the only one who gets a massive amount of smoke taint on this? Which is really a shame as the underlying parts here are really good. But the scotch peaty flavor is… a lot. That said, the smoke is integrated to the point that it’s almost mezcal like. Maybe I’ll have a bit of citrus and salt with the next one.

April 7, 2023 - Really good Rose of Pinot Noir. not just a summer sipper this has more body and gravitas than a lot of Roses, and could really be enjoyed year round.

Really enjoyed it, and a very good QPR from Sun Break...

March 13, 2022 - Medium clear watermelon in color. Decomposing leaves, flower petals, spices, and strawberries on the nose. Light bodied, dry, sharp palate with high acidity. Underripe strawberries, underripe red cherries, a bit of tobacco leaves, lemons, a bit of star anise and clove on the palate. Every now and then I do get some volcanic ash on the palate. There is a bit of a tannic structure present. Medium-short finish that pine, spices, tart berries, and saline.

Very refreshing and I feel like you can consume this on a cooler day than most roses.
