October 13, 2022 - I love pyrazines when they are green, like jalapeño (many great Loire reds), or cedar-y (many great Bordeaux wines). But when they are dusty and white pepper-y, like those here, I am not a fan. Still, this is a good wine.

June 13, 2022 - Ruby colored and clear, but with notable sediment (perhaps it is not fined or unfiltered). Smelled red cherry and strong earth, both carrying through to the taste along with some green herbs and a spicy tingle. Medium-light in the mouth with pleasant balance but a fairly short spicy finish.

November 11, 2021 - Nose: tart bing cherries, bright acid, pronounced old oak barrels, hints of rocky earth. Palate: tart raspberries, rounded tannins, black pepper on the finish. Overall a bit tart, but a fresh, simple, very solid old world cab franc for the price ($14).
