April 16, 2024 - Rhys vs White Burgundy Blind (A collector's home): Wine C. The nose shows tropical fruit, some mango and pineapple. Surprising acidity, decent cut, but ultimately this has a rounder riper and 1 note palate that lacked complexity. I guessed this to be Rhys

    April 14, 2024 - Really enjoyable
    500ml bottle, 12.5 % ABV
Quite ripe fruit and soft initial profile, touch of sweetness but this isn’t a big fruit driven buttery chard, far from it.
A real underlying leanness on the finish and gold verve - Approchable and enjoyable
The bottle format and low ABV means it’s easy to do so as an extra bottle
    Lovely

February 3, 2024 - A week ago I had my first bottle as part of a lineup of seven Chardonnays. The memory lingered, and last night I decided to open a second bottle. It really is a great wine. Last night we had this after tasting a grand cru Chablis, and someone said it was like going from 2D to 3D. We also had a 2014 Peay Estate Chardonnay, which was nice but, fwiw, not in the same league as this horseshoe Chardonnay. I am very impressed.

January 27, 2024 - Very crisp. Very firm acidic spine. And very light color. On day one, it was kind of too acidic for me. Revisited 48 hours later: It’s color had darkened a bit and the body had put on weight and richness while maintaining the firm spine.

November 14, 2023 - Fabulous showing. Full of perfectly ripe orchard fruits and amped up with electric acidity. Long, lingering and bitingly crisp on the finish.
