August 27, 2023 - A reasonably good blend, but there’s nothing memorable. Would be fine as a by-the-glass wine at a restaurant.

March 16, 2023 - Agree with other comments. Enjoyable if uncomplicated. Not a stellar QPR.

February 18, 2023 - Dark, nose of raspberries, cherries. Pretty simple flavor blend of raspberry and cherry…a bit hollow . Ok but not a qpr

October 12, 2022 - It’s fine. Nicely perfumed nose, then red cherry at the front followed by some wood and darker fruits mid-palate. Finish is short and slightly astringent, especially on PNP. I would not hold longer- May knock some of the tannins down but I also don’t think any secondary or tertiary notes will come out. Ok for the price but expected a little more from this vintage /style /producer .

August 15, 2022 - A nicely balanced full-bodied red blend with black fruit notes. Good with food and a bit of a dry finish. Was better on day one vs day 2.

August 7, 2022 - As others have said, a well balanced wine that’s not too powerful or weak. Relatively easy drinking with a solid yet mild finish. Easy enjoy To drink on its own or pair with some good. If it was $10/btl cheaper this would be awesome value but still good enough to buy at $40.

May 1, 2022 - I enjoy Duckhorn wines so while this doesn’t measure up to their premium offerings it’s a solid wine for a daily drinker. Rich flavors with some tannins so I don’t think it’s a wine to age for long, enjoy it before too long.

April 4, 2022 - I used to really love this. One, it needs more time — give it a year, at least. Two, clearly I’m becoming a snob. This is nice but at least right now, after the Seavey Caravina 2015 this tastes flat and sharp. I realize that’s three years in the cellar, so again — this may just need more time. Body feels flimsy. Obviously, it’s a different wine but still, feels silly to spend $40 on this — just spend $60 on the Seavey. However, there are some lovely ideas in here. I do think a year or two will help this a lot.

February 13, 2022 - Glass staining dark...very strong nose of ripe cherry/blackberry and currants. Well rounded...well integrated and balanced. Layers of fruit with just enough tannins (kind of surprised how little tannins)...very light oak to me. Delicious... usually out of my price range (40$ and widely available) but very nice to be treated every once in a while.
