March 22, 2018 - Bold, rich, cedar, mocha, beautify oak. Ruby red colour. This wine taste extremely young and is no where near its peak. Couldn't believe it's almost 20 years old. Needs another 5+ years I reckon.

July 29, 2016 - Drunk from Magnum. A fantastic wine, drinking so well tonight. Balanced, with good fruit, blackberry, blueberry, plum, cedar, mocha, liquorice. Silky, smooth tannins, with acidity in a sweet spot. Hard to imagine this will get better, but by the same token nothing to suggest that this will decline in any way in the next 3 to 5 years. An outstanding wine, enjoyed by everyone.

May 27, 2016 - Deep ruby. Medium plus intensity aromas of blackberry and eucalypt. Palate is medium plus acid, medium plus tannins, medium plus body, full length. Wine is well integrated, a very good wine, years to go.

November 9, 2013 - Dark black inky black and blue berries and satsuma plums. To its credit it could well have been a right bank bordeAux maybe a garagiste type powerful merlot based bord. Interestingly the structure is relatively plush for a cab and had most calling it a merlot. Juicy ripe like an Aussie with premium pedigree.

August 24, 2012 - Cleanest cork I have seen on an 11 year old wine. Certainly drinks younger than its 11 years, good depth and concentration with nice balance between fruit, tannin, oak and alcohol. Some rough edges and little menthol just knock it back a little but still a terrific food friendly Cabernet.

June 10, 2012 - A bit rougher than my last bottle, particularly on the second day. Nonetheless, nice concentration, crunchy tannins, creamy oak and juicy fruit. Not as "together" as the previous bottle so not sure if this is a time thing or just a different bottle. There was enough here to suggest that good bottles have some years of development to go.

June 8, 2012 - Lovely wine from a good vintage. Plush and quite opulent but true to its heritage. Rich nose leads to a deep palate showing olives, blackberries, tar and tobacco. Nice oak, chalky tannins and excellent depth and length. There are better wines from the vintage but I did enjoy this one a lot. Think this should still show some development over the next few years and has the structure to hold it all together nicely.
