April 1, 2024 - Since I picked up another couple bottles of this from Full Pull, I decided to pop this one. Tasting consistent with prior notes. Still holding strong with a long life ahead. Great pairing with grilled pork chops!

February 25, 2024 - Had to test to determine whether to purchase more from FP.
    1 hour decant.
Clear, medium ruby, medium meniscus, high viscosity
N of Plum, blackberry, cherry, bit of olive, rose and definitely bramble.
P more fruit forward with Cherry and Raspberry. The cherry coming through bright on the finish. Also had smoked meat and salami, sourdough and a bit of olive.
    Improved over time.
    Med+ body, medium acidity, 14+, fine/Med+ tannins.

April 2, 2023 - No decant, but poured through an aerator. Tasting notes echo those of my previous bottle. Really good stuff; happy I have another bottle. Will wait 5 years or so on that one. Drink now - 2032.

November 1, 2022 - Similar to one year ago. A bit restrained on both the nose and palate . Popped and quickly decanted , but poured in the glass immediately . In this context , the more air it gets, the more typical Syrah markers come out. Once again , paired with chili (not planned at all).

October 27, 2022 - This 2017 only took about an hour or so of air to balance out and start showing it’s stuff. The ruby purple color and medium body led the charge to a whimsical mouthful of bright red cherry, strawberry, blackberry, ash, orange peel, smoked meats and some stoney minerals. Graciously smooth but lingering tannins keep this elevated and able to keep up with your meal. This never seem to disappoint. Cheers!
