August 21, 2022 - Decanted ahead two hours. Bright red fruit, on the lighter/leaner side for both vintage and appellation, probably better three years ago and in decline but still drinking well enough to pair with grilled veal chops.

December 6, 2019 - Very nice, light, feminine and soft. Good but overshadowed by the muscular Volnay Clos de la Barre by its side.

March 6, 2019 - Pnp and drunk with parchment paper baked salmon. This wine was good with lots of forest floor, earth, minerals and adequate fruit. Acid balance good. Drink or hold.

June 8, 2018 - Red fruit is starting to take the lead here. A bit of earthiness adds to the complexity. Well balanced and wonderful texture. The secondary characteristics are present, but this wine still has a hand full of years ahead of it. Elegant juice!

January 17, 2018 - D canted this 3+ hours then let it rest in the glass. As we compared this to a recent 2015 Burgundy release it shows well and that it’s got a decade in it. Good Pommard character of morello cherry, forested earth and some vanilla from the oaking.

A very pleasant and easy to like wine. Nothing hugely complex, but it’s village level, has a nice color and holds up nicely to food.

October 23, 2017 - Fairly lackluster and simple. A little vanilla, a little fruit but nothing that justifies waiting until 2017 to drink it.

October 23, 2017 - Dried cherries, dusty spices and minerality dance nicely together in this light red burgundy. Patience had paid off giving this wine time to let the fruit come closer to the forefront. This wine has enough structure to drink well for another five years.

July 13, 2017 - The previous reviewer nailed it, I think. I'm also getting a little vanilla. Drinking beautifully right now, but the tannic pucker suggests another decade or more.

October 8, 2016 - Simply delicious. Fragrant nose of baked cherry and spice box, which are repeated on the palate: sweet baked cherry, some rhubarb, spice box, with plenty of minerality and good acidity. Light on its feet and ethereal. Clean and pure. Just a pleasure to drink.
