September 23, 2023 - You know, I never think about decanting a white wine, but I think I may try with my next bottle of this. When first popped, this was pretty coiled up, with a tart edge to the citrusy fruit. Some matchstick and saline. After this had been open a while, and warmed up a little, it was excellent. The fruit picked up some white tones, maybe pear and apple, and the saline really popped. Thirst quenching acidity. Alcohol in 12 something range I think. Delicious.

July 27, 2023 - Really, really good. I have no idea what possessed me to open this so soon (for me), but wow I'm glad I did. Just 113 cases were produced, and at the $35 release price, this is drinking well-above its modest cost. Moreover, it's deeply satisfying, to the point I'll be guarding my remaining bottles - from me! - for a few more years. What a great experience. PnP, served non-blind, followed over 2 1/2 hours as several bottles were also open. highly recommended

June 29, 2023 - Chalky, mouth filling with lemon curd, minerals, and florals, and with hazelnuts on the lingering finish. When I drink this, I ask why even bother with white Burgundy. This more than scratches that itch.

May 12, 2023 - A refreshing style (literally and figuratively)... surprisingly light-bodied, yet rather supple and easygoing rather than at all screechy, and avoiding the increasingly tedious tendency towards Chardonnay with aggressive reduction. Grass and citrus on the soft, welcoming nose, and maybe a hint of cream. The action is on the palate though, really, which was dominated by notably concentrated fruit and an intensely juicy and persistent finish. I found this slightly too intellectual to enjoy unreservedly without food, but on the other hand it was definitely worth letting that finish linger without distraction. Very good.

March 24, 2023 - A touch richer than the '19 Whistling Ridge tasted a couple of days ago. Mandarin oil, fennel, hazelnut. A textural and gastronomic wine with real weight on the palate. Marcus aptly put it, ‘very much in the key of Meursault’
