June 3, 2022 - Cranberry, cassis, a bit floral, some herbs. Tart with lots of acid. Very low tannins. Benefitted from a chill and some air time.
Honestly this left me a bit cold. I was expecting more given the character I’ve come to expect from Preisinger and Blaufränkisch’s pedigree in Burgenland.
Still a tasty gulp but for this kind of red from Preisinger, I‘d go with Puszta.

March 11, 2022 - Nice translucent red color and you can see it's unfiltered with a little sediment clouding it.

This was really not what I had expected when I've had some Blaufränkisch from Moric... Totally different style and I can't believe this is the same grape.

This kind of reminds me of red wine from Ganevat with this extreme acidic berry lemonade kind of feel paired with this natural wine kind of funk. Sour cherry, strawberry, raspberry, blackberry, redcurrant with some forest floor and green funk to it. Insane juiciness and wonderful acidity while being so light with soft tannins. A bit of graphite/pencil shavings.

Frisk men fungerer greit uten mat. Flott frisk juice

December 11, 2021 - Appearance - translucent deep red core with bright red hues. Light viscosity. Few legs. Just lovely to look at
Nose - very aromatic, notes of ripe red fruits, with some sour cherry, raspberries, some forest floor, floral notes too.
Palate - wow, give it some air and flavours become intense. From first sip, immediate notes of red fruits, getting lots of cranberries, raspberries , sour cherries , in the background are subtle forest floor notes and tannins are very fine. Def has Burgundian style . Acidity is quite high, really pushes the flavour right through to end with lasting taste.

This is my kind of wine, and for the price don't think you can beat this.
