December 1, 2023 - After opening and resting for about 30 minutes, this Shiraz wasn’t too bad. Dark fruits, clearly evident, balanced tannins and lower alcohol content is easy on the back of the tongue.
At this price range I’ve had much worse. ?

July 18, 2023 - Ridiculously, almost comically bad. Basically zero flavor, like somebody figured out some technology to remove all fruit from a wine. Not even good enough to serve to the in-laws.

March 4, 2023 - On the nose slate and red berries. After a good decant some subtle unripe blackberry starts to come through, indicating a soft juiciness that doesn’t come through on the palate.

On the palate, polished cranberry, sour plum and hints of cool sage. No fruit flavours really and actually lacks much flavour in any discernible way. Quite a one dimensional wine. Fairly high acidity, medium bodied, short to medium finish metallic, stone like finish - not to my taste. Actually really reminded me of the last bottle - a 2019 Tuscan Guidalberto - weird!

I haven’t properly enjoyed a Shiraz to date though so this might not be the fairest of reviews and down to my personal preference for other varieties.

January 2, 2023 - Overly aggressive tannins the first night. Pleasant the day after with fatty red meat.
