November 5, 2023 - Knocks you back just from a sniff with aromatics packed with gunpowder and flint. Okay, maybe it's just sulfury or reductive or both, but I like it. Palate is clean and fresh, almost more like a sauvignon blanc crossed with white Burgundy than a Rhone blend.

May 18, 2023 - Went in on a bottle of this with a friend from Paris because prices there are even crazier than the 340 we paid.
The wine was truly special. Maybe because we sought it out together. Maybe because of the back story. But I think it is deserving of all the accolades (just maybe not 340 dollars deserving but that is subjective)
Slow oxed in the cellar all day and fridged for 39 min before while we drank champagne. Turned out to be too cold so we have to wait for it to warm back up. Best at cellar temp or warmer IMO.
This open up very gradually in the glass over about 30 min. Fantastic aromas of apricots and nectarines and something tropical and something creamy and many things I could not describe. So much complexity on the palate, every sip was different throughout the night. Might be my WOTY so far.

February 22, 2023 - Drank next to a ente and a bizot Les violettes and some including myself preferred this for the openness and balance. Just a gorgeous wine.

September 1, 2022 - A private dinner (Restaurant The Lobby Fizeaustraat, Hotel V, Amsterdam, NL): A magical balance between honeyed richness and floral freshness, apricot and pineapple, seamless and silky, soft and gentle with percaline bitters, perfectly judged sweetness from the wood, subtle but expressive, dry but juicy, great minerality on the finish, warm spices, exceptional length.
