August 22, 2010 - A bit too off-dry for my pallet. I like my Rieslings bone dry. The fruit is dancing however--peaches. There is a good floral component. And the acidity is nice. Dry this one out and it would be AMAZING!

February 23, 2009 - Opened 4 nights ago, left on the counter with the cork in it...
Tonight this wine exhibits aromas of bruised pineapple with a bare hint of minerality.
The palate is once again full and rather voluptuous; the finish is more lemon-y (and less lemon candy) than I remember from its initial opening, and more minerals are showing through. Excellent shelf-life. I can see this pairing with all sorts of foods.
Impressive. Most Impressive.
I can't remember a time when I've scored the same bottle higher 4 days later? -

February 20, 2009 - This is for you, DUSTOFF.....
nose: super steel, super petrol, and yet super soft spicy melon.
palate: very unexpected in the mouth, and lacking the laser-like acidity I expected from OR. More plush and rounded, filled in with honeydew notes but with lemon tang on the edges. Quite the exerience. Finish is quite nice, and quite lemonheads-like. My first brush with domestic riesling of such 'presence.' -

February 12, 2009 - This essentially dry (barely off-dry) riesling showcases distinctive aromas of Hawaiian white honey, buttercup flowers, apple pie, and a hint of kerosene. Moreover, it's simultaneously giving and precise on the palate, with flavors of lime, red currant, and a hint of gingery spice and strawberry. Brisk acidity and subtle but defined minerality. Yay! Drink at no less than 50F for full effect.

April 8, 2008 - Having a difficult time with a number rating on this -- but very much liked this Riesling. Apple and citrus on the nose...a bit 'steely' honeydew with nice balance. Enjoyed with food and alone. A very good deal for under $20.
