December 2, 2023 - An unconventional Sancerre, one of a kind experience from legendary slopes of Mont Damnes. Francois eschews modern technology, prefers minimalist old school approach, organic & biodynamic practices, avoids pesticides and doesn’t filter his wines. In some vintages it was declassified because the local committee found them too atypical of Sancerre. Intense aroma of smoke, flint, sulphur, honey, dried yellow plums, wax. Medium+ body, concentrated, smoky, delicately creamy with explosive minerality and high acidity.

December 18, 2020 - What a roller coaster with this wine! Opened it and it was totally corked. Having nothing to lose, I threw some food wrapping film in the bottle and waited 3 days. As skeptical as I was, it totally worked to remove the TCA.
Wine was still primary, very Cotat-esque. Hint of medecinal licorice, lime and lemon notes with chalk. Med body, intense but lifted by good acidity. Supple and round, really easy to drink.

December 30, 2018 - A little sharp and not else. Past prime or not the best bottle.

September 18, 2018 - Wet wool, cut apple, wonderful acidity, bright and really well balanced. Very good length. 91-93
