  September 28, 2023 - PnP. Dark ruby. Nose of Kroger's sheetcake frosting, turpentine and crystalline cat litter. Cloying sweetness in the mouth, reminiscent of Knottsberry Farms boysenberry pancake syrup with more than a hint of rubber band. Medium finish of stale beef jerkey and Certs. To sum up, positively insufferable and an all-in-all regrettable tasting experience. Avoid at all costs.

  September 14, 2023 - Dark ruby color with medium legs. Berry bomb on the nose with a hint of oak which could make this a crowd pleaser. Nothing but berry and a little tannin on the palate. Finish is more like a full bodied pinot noir than cab. Enjoyable wine with good flavors but doesn’t fit acab profile which may account for some of the low ratings.
