September 24, 2022 - Purely Russian river in a form true to California.
The nose is filled with ripe red fruit, strawberry, cherry, and cranberry, with a touch of sweet vanilla.
In the mouth this is med+ body, med+ acidity, and low tannin. There is a freshness, almost a bite to the acidity, that could use some refinement.
All in all, this is good if you are in the mood for a well made CA Pinot.
September 22, 2022 - Beautiful Pinot from Three Sticks flagship vineyard. Reminded me of going to the house of pancakes of my youth- blueberry, boysenberry fruits featured in syrups. This has a nice element of ripeness and a long, lasting finish. Dark flavors but not overbearing or heavy. I thought this was delicious and delivered on all fronts.

February 6, 2022 - Excellent wine had with stuffed pork loin at home with Jim and Susie.
September 27, 2021 - Solid middle of the fairway Pinot for its price point. Nice layers, length, complexity...dense strawberry and raspberry fruit with hints of blueberry and boysenberry...
