  May 9, 2021 - I like rose but I never felt they achieved the same quality like white ones.
  
  And then came the cuvee 281…
  
  Drank from a big pinot noir glass and the first sceptical approach was boom peach, intense, elegant and clean peach. Give it a few minutes on the air it will improve a bit especially more coherent flavours.
  
  Ok, so far so good and surprisingly the taste didnt let down either. A lot of rose give a hint of the fruit they promise on the bouquet but marred by slightly weak or overly alcoholic finish.
  This one though delivered consistently… not a creamy full bodied style like Ott but a very ethereal and elegant mid bodied fruity and fresh flavour which is true to its bouquet.
  
  There is also no alcoholic finish its a totally clean and fresh wine with more or less no downside except the price.
  
  The most gorgeous aspect is definitely the bouquet though even if you didnt read any of the market aspects you feel like you next to a blue pool next to the sea. This is a splendid emotion…
  
  So the bad thing… the price is quite brutal for a rose.
  There are a lot of already amazing white ones for half the price and some really great ones for the same price.
  
  But I admit, if I was going to be on a boat somewhere this would be on board!
