January 21, 2024 - Walkaround tasting so just short notes: This wine is made of 50% Merlot, 49% Cabernet Franc and 1% Cabernet Sauvignon. Aged for 80% in new French oak. Extremely full bodied and delicious with ripe dark berries, licorice and beautiful oak and cedar. Beautiful acidity and round tannin and also a pleasant touch of sweetness. Enormously tasty and beautiful wine. Already a pleasure, but around 2035 this wine will probably be even more impressive. 95 - 96+

March 21, 2023 - With a serious depth of color, the wine pops from the glass with its array of flowers, black, red and blue fruits, chocolate, licorice, Indian spices and oceanic fragrances. The wine is full-bodied, rich, concentrated and intense, with lusciously-textured layers of perfectly black and red fruits, crushed rocks, chocolate and espresso on the mid-palate that stick with you through to the finish. This is simply stunning from start to finish. With all of its ripe fruits, it will be fabulous in its youth, but it has serious aging potential. Drink from 2025-2050.

March 6, 2023 - UGCB tasting Bordeaux 2020 Walkaround tasting so in general just short notes (Beurs van Berlage, Amsterdam.): Firm wine with dark and red berries, good oak, good acidity and sticky tannin. This wine needs at least 10+ years in the bottle. 94 - 95+

March 6, 2023 - The 2020 vintage UGCB tasting in Amsterdam 03/06/2023 (Amsterdam): Has personality, from everything just a bit more than most of its colleagues with its black currants and smooth red fruit, a nice midtaste, good bitters and noticeable but edible tannins.

January 9, 2023 - (50% Cabernet Franc, 49% Merlot, 1% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Alkohol) Würzige Nase, deutlich Cabernet Franc, dazu Kalkstein, dunkle Frucht, exotische Gewürze. November 2022 in Zürich) www.vvwine.ch
