  March 18, 2022 - Dark colour. Spice and red berries on the nose. Similar flavours with a good acidic bite. A nice vin de soif.

  February 6, 2022 - Pretty much as my note of Nov 2021. Juicy fruit on nose and palate. Plenty of acidity and a little spice with the red fruits and the tannins (very slightly mouth-puckering at first). An interesting comparison with the Wine Society’s Chilean Pinot Noir - this is less rich with more juicy acidity and a more austere ‘Old World’ character. Uncomplicated but good value and good with food, though.

  November 1, 2021 - It showed a good, light, Pinot colour and a pleasant nose with strawberry prominent. The palate shows strawberries, cherries, and offers spice with a little smoke and hints of an almost ‘meaty’ character (in a nice way). It developed well after opening and was good with roast ham. It seemed softer and more ‘together’ next day with better-integrated acidity and tannin. Not a great Pinot but reasonably priced for everyday drinking. (88 considering the QPR)
