Community Tasting Notes 9

March 24, 2024 - Deceint fruit, strawberry, reasonable body, nice color and tannins are pretty calm. This vintage will cellar a bit longer but no more than 5 years, probably less. Drinking well right now.

September 28, 2023 - Drinking well, still needs more time in cellar. Tannins are starting to settle down but still have a fair amount of punch. Not as full bodied as other vintages, defiantly closer to mid. Typical Burrowing owl nose, with toasted oak and graphite.

December 19, 2022 - Needs time. Still fresh. Typical NB. Black berry, toast, nose.

August 26, 2022 - Some great Canadian Okanagan wine tonight.
48% Merlot 34% Cabernet Sauvignon 17% Cabernet Franc 1% Petit Verdot.

    Dark fruits on the nose.
Quite acidic with medium body, strong tannins, tobacco, earthy and herbal. Needs a few more years before revisiting, very young.
