January 27, 2022 - Last week I had the 2020 Pfaffmann Chardonnay Lebenswerk Réserve, which I liked but nothing stood out.
The Pinot Gris version left a similiar impression. More RS (5.5 g/L) than acidity (5 g/L) but still rather dry than feinherb with apples, high minerality, and very light herbal notes. I liked its juicyness, whereas I missed some creamy and more complex notes from vinification in oak barrels.
