Nose - Subdued light Grapefruit, hint of tropical fruit
Palate - Again subdued lacking correct acidity and crispness, kind of non-descript have to search for fruit, maybe grapefruit and some sort of tropical fruit I guess my best description would be wimpy when compared to a New Zealand SB which is my preferred style of SB -

January 12, 2023 - Just prior bottles from this case. Very good and a great value. I have rarely had a bottle of Groth SB disappoint.

November 24, 2022 - This has been a terrific SB from the first bottle. Tart, but not overly so. It has other softer things going on in the background. This was served with a starter course of New Orleans style turtle soup at Thanksgiving Dinner. It was a perfect complement to that dish.
