March 13, 2023 - PnP. Beautiful aromas or cherry, plum, spice, anise and earth. Loaded with fruit flavors showing cherry, black fruits, plum, spice, anise, earth. wonderful mouthfeel . Good acidity. Soft dusty tannins in the finish. the best may still be to come.

February 17, 2022 - Pop and pour on this one and consumed over 3 hours.

I tasted a number of the 2019s with Will last Fall, but do not believe this label was part of the lineup, so I was excited to check in on this one!

Out of the gate this bottle was fantastic. I was halfway expecting to be hit by a wall of tannins, and while they were present, they were surprisingly more integrated than I would have imagined. This bottle showed tons of cherry, plum, blackberry, dark chocolate, and a hint of vanilla. Acidity is in-check and the mouthfeel is spectacular.

The bottle continued to open up and evolve over the 3 hours we consumed it. It became more expressive and velvety, perhaps gaining a little bit of weight along the way.

Overall, the 2019s are nothing short of fantastic. When the 2018s eventually come around, it will be interesting to be a side-by-side. Both great, but different animals. 93pts now, but at least another 1-2pts of upside. Easily one of the best NV values out there. Kudos to Will!

December 3, 2021 - Opened, poured into a decanter, and enjoyed with food (NY strip steak, roasted potatoes and white bean bruschetta, in case you were wondering).
    Deep purple color.
Fantastic nose of ripe plums and cherry with an accent of Christmas spice (nutmeg, mace, clove, cinnamon).
Great mouthfeel and intro with ripe plum/cherry, with dusty tannins, balanced by enough acidity to give this lift. Soft tannins show on the finish.
    Quite good.
Retasted a small bit the following day, and finished the balance on the third day.
Retained its fresh fruit flavors. Tannins soft. Remained inviting and enjoyable.

November 19, 2021 - Double decanted for 8 hours and drank over two days Integrated and vibrant, and also enjoyed it over than the 2018, I'll hold onto the remainder of these for at least a few years. Remains IMO one of the best <$100 Napa cabs available.
