February 4, 2023 - Very pleasantly surprised by this bottle - has really improved since my last one. It is a very nice mid-week bottle and great QPR at sub-$30. Nice body and flavors. Smooth.
August 14, 2022 - Surprisingly light bodied and fruit forward Lots of bright red cherry, raspberry and a hint of herbs
March 9, 2022 - Would not pay $100 for this but it is very good if you can find for under $40. Not overly complex but offers very good fruit.
November 1, 2021 - Nice dark ruby red in the glass; Mostly green and oak notes on the nose; blackberry and black cherry on the palate, with a hint of vanilla; med+ acidity and high tannins. The wine developed a bit more fruit on the nose and was a bit softer on the palate after decanting for a few hours...however this wine will definitely benefit from many more years in the cellar. Will hold the remaining 2 bottles for 5 years.
October 26, 2021 - Flawed, just like last night’s bottle. Bummer, actually Double Pisser. The 1st bottle was so nice (post-decant). Hate it when a vintage has issues like this!!!

May 16, 2021 - Decanted for 90 minutes. Initially, it was nice, but pretty closed and fairly acidic. Post-decant, more open, lower acidity. Overall nicely balanced between black fruit, tannins, oak and tobacco. A 91 Pointer and a Good QPR now. Actually, it’s still improving minute by minute! Need to let the other bottles continue to lay down and age… if I can! Maybe even get some more to lay down? 🤔
