February 12, 2023 - Initially tried to convince myself I could enjoy it, but it was too far past its prime, or flawed. I believe the former though.

March 22, 2018 - Gorgeous, petrol and lychee, peach. Palate is rich and unctuous, medium to low acidity, great sugar and ripeness, good finish. Great

August 21, 2017 - Vivid, almost neon yellow-green. Overwhelming kerosene (TDN) with a secondary sweet limeade level on the nose. Intense sweet limeade notes with a strong kerosene finish; the kerosene faded a bit with air. Remarkable, albeit a bit one-dimensional. Great acids to match the sweetness.

May 18, 2015 - The first surprise was that this was under a screwcap! This had no obvious effect on the wine as it was stunningly delicious, got better with air on the first night was better on the next day. A lot of exotic fruit here (pineapple, mango), TBA type sweetness, but the acidity is there to carry the day and the wine while delicious with dessert, worked great with the pork chops as well. Impressive wine, which might be around in a hundred years with no risk of bad cork...

June 14, 2014 - Dinner at Oscillate Wildly (Oscillate Wildly, Sydney): Pear, grapefruit, spice and peach aromas. Lovely balance, it has really good acidity behind it and as a result the sweetness doesn't at all stand out. This grew the longer it was in the glass. Super good stuff.

May 12, 2013 - Drank this during a Mother's Day Dinner at Ocean Kingdom.

My family members went a little crazy over this wine. A little muted at first, it opened up and the beautiful aromas took presence in the dining room. Hints of peach, nectar, citrus fruits displayed on the nose, with a creamy and rosy mouth feel. The finish is exceptionally long, with layers of flavours taking turns to take centre stage. This is a lot better than the younger German Rieslings that I've tasted, and the sensations from the start to the finish are just remarkable. This is an elegant Auslese that does not have to try hard to impress.

Will be hard to forget this wine from memory though.

May 23, 2011 - Last bottle was a bit flabby. This one was regaining a bit of balance.
