March 23, 2024 - Robe Rubis limpide au reflet violet. Au nez, confiture de bleuets, fraise, légèrement épicé, touche de Menthol. Rappel presque un vin du Rhône sud à base de grenache. Pas de longueur, alcool en finale. Reflète bien la mode des nouveaux bordeaux moins extraits, facile à boire et "près du fruit".

February 6, 2024 - St.Emilion Grand Cru Classée values tasting: 2016 and 2020 side by side. Nose of dark fruit and wood, medium bodied palate, quite drinkable, but not much aroma in the 2016 (89pt), the 2020 had the edge with additional cloves notes and more oomph.

September 24, 2023 - This is already so good, it's insane.
Nose: purple fruit and dark chocolate shaving, hints of incense, truffle, lead, bay leaf.
Palate: dark fruit, chocolate-covered sour cherries, something like a chunky mid-palate but a shorter finish. Obvious being drank very young.
Seems like nothing but promise.
If I'm dying for the regional taste, I drink now with an hour decant. Otherwise hold for a few years and be richly rewarded. -

September 11, 2023 - St. Emilion Grand Cru Classés Walkaround tasting, so just short notes (Amsterdam): 75% Merlot, 24% Cabernet Franc and 1% Cabernet Sauvignon. Full bodied and round wine with ripe fruits, fresh acidity, round and friendly tannin and a great length. 93+
