December 20, 2021 - Shows great fruit, some herbal tones, and a lovely minerality, and although this is lithe and penetrating, there is a ripeness and richness that make the wine succulent and balanced, inlike some of the punishingly acidic and unbalanced dry "basic" rieslings out there. Lovely.

November 25, 2021 - This is just sick shit. Quick possibly the most perfect feinherb. Just a kiss of lemon candy sweetness. Can mineral be a jam? Fuck yes. Light texture. A little almost ricola finish. Brilliant.

October 24, 2021 - I was excited to taste this Feinherb beauty from the great Ulli Stein. An absolutely delicious wine with a real easygoing feel and level of refreshment that is hard to deny. Like fresh mineral water and ripe apples.

October 10, 2021 - 11% abv. AP 4. NOSE: surprisingly coherent texture binds salted green flower petals. The border has almost completely shed its yeast. I find the shadow of it to be reassuring; it indicates laissez faire attitudes toward gravity and filtration. The fruit here is capable of moving in a variety of directions, from musky apples, to green tropical fruits. It has stone teeth. MOUTH: Generous, juicy, sweet textures yield quickly to varied, punctuating gestures. *This is a good vintage for Weihwasser.* It finishes detailed and dry. As I drink it, something savory emerges: steamed, chilled tomatillo steam. Then, nori. Now I’m walking within a projection of dunes and surf, draped over rigid calcium formations. The sky is drenched and weeping. Perfect, refreshing, clear juice. Gold-green-silver. PERSPECTIVE: It’s shocking to me, that wine of such extreme honesty, quality, and utility is available for twenty bucks.
