April 1, 2024 - Continues to improve.
March 3, 2024 - This wine is really quite good. It’s got the usual characteristics of Nebbiolo; cherry, raspberry, tobacco, etc but also an herbal complexity similar to the garrigue of a nice southern Rhône wine. Great nose, long finish. Delicious.
January 21, 2024 - Eye: garnet color. Nose: cherries, herbal depth. Palate: balanced, nice red fruit, medium to long finish.
December 21, 2023 - Light bodied, short finish.
August 19, 2023 - Excellent. Absolutely excellent.
July 16, 2023 - A decent, albeit slightly simple and clunky Barolo. A bit heavy handed as it showed some heat and wasn't so balanced. Showing med+ intensity, tar and dried roses, dusty red fruit, slight raisiny characteristics emerged with aeration. Great with food, but not enough balance to really enjoy by itself at this stage. Can age further which may help with the heat of the alcohol.
July 14, 2023 - Typical Barolo, in all regards. Juicy and bracing, leaning rustic. Indeed, not the prettiest...and there is nothing wrong with that. Exceptional pairing with Risotto and Caprese Salad. Fine QPR.

June 2, 2023 - Some bricking on the rim. Cherry and liquorice on a medium body with a medium finish. Tannins are fine at this stage. Nice weekday Barolo that is approachable now but has another 3 - 5 years left
