Community Tasting Notes 12

November 26, 2023 - Heard some fizz as I pulled the cork - which concerned me. Cloudy but med/light color. Very vegetal nose. Ive had this wine a handful of times now (across multiple vintages) but this was the first one I think was flawed. Not sure what flaw though and it don’t stop me, though M wouldn’t drink any of it.

August 15, 2023 - Luxurious velvety purple. Aromas of forrest floor, wold blackberries and plums. Fresh and crystalline palate. Flowers and bing cherries. Jolly ranchers. Sleek, smooth and long. Well placed balancing acids. This is a lot of fun

August 11, 2023 - A succulent wine with lush yet vibrant flavors of lifted ripe cherry backed great acidity and fine tannins to keep this from going over the edge.

April 9, 2023 - Cloudy and light color. Good tart Gamay funk but with a juicy acidity. Paired great w cheeses and BBQ seitan. Last glass was my least favorite otherwise I would have scored a point higher.

    -nearly semi-translucent med purple
    -juicy gamay
-med acidity, med- weight, juicy fruit with a bitter earth mineral note
