October 10, 2023 - Consistent with my previous notes from May. Black fruit, fine but present tannins, and just a bit of acidity in a medium body. A very satisfying wine any night of the week and just the right match for tonight's meatloaf and roasted potatoes.
October 1, 2023 - Very well balanced acid fruit and tannin. Easy drinker, not super complex, but enjoyable.
September 30, 2023 - Moderate oak and dark fruit, powerful tannin but still approachable. Picked very ripe with a large water addition in the fermenter to bring sugars down to a fermentable level. Typical for an American cabernet but when the producer goes overboard it leads to a hollow feeling mid palate. That is happening here. This is decent, but a bit too formulaic. Let's not talk about QPR

Nice complexity, nothing out of place. Well made wine.

September 5, 2023 - Good color and body. Nothing really exciting about this one but it is full body a the fruit is good. This is a solid everyday type wine.
July 31, 2023 - Beautiful garnet color.
Fine tannin that did not bite you, but caress you slowly as it became more intense after you had your first sip and quickly let go.
On the sweeter side of the spectrum full of dark fruits, vanilla, oaks, and bittersweet chocolate notes.
Not too complex, but really easy to drink especially for people that might not like wine due its sourness and strong tannins.
10/10 would buy again on the price point.
June 20, 2023 - Lovely lush notes of ripe blackberries, cedar, and plum. Rich with a vibrant long finish. Lots of flavor and medium tannins.
May 28, 2023 - Deep garnet color. Black fruit on the nose and palate. Medium+ body with slightly rounded but still nicely grippy tannins and medium- acidity. After a while a little leather and cypress. Not an especially remarkable wine but I'm happy to open a bottle of this any night of the week, knowing that I'll have a pleasant quaff.
