April 28, 2024 - 93/94. The mountain fruit really elevates this and balances out the ripe-er valley floor fruit. Not a ton of structure but very much my style with good earth and mineral elements. Only 1 bottle left now :(
March 16, 2024 - PnP. Jammy, fruit-driven and over extracted. Easy to drink if this is your jam. Lots of sediment from both the start and bottom of the bottle
February 17, 2024 - Two hour slow ox. Deep dark magenta color. Black Forest cake, cornmeal, blueberry, and powdered sugar. Dry, plush, full bodied palate. Full tannins on the medium long+ finish.

January 21, 2024 - Brought to Sunday family dinner (Italian style)with my mom and family. This is always a crowd pleaser (especially when every dish has a red sauce)
Black and red fruits, full bodied, integrated tannins. What it lacks in complexity, it makes up in deliciousness. One of the best versions of this wine in the past decade. 11 different vineyards contribute, if I remember correctly
November 10, 2023 - Two hour decant. Deep dark magenta color. Blackberry cobbler, raspberry-infused chocolate, and subtle pepper. Very dry palate. Firm, full tannins on the longish finish.
This is simple, but nicely built for the price point. Absolutely made to enjoy in its youth. Very reliable from vintage to vintage.

September 30, 2023 - One hour decant. Very very deep ruby magenta color. Black cherry, boysenberry, gooseberry, sweet tobacco, strawberry jelly, flour tortilla, and thyme. Dry palate, with pixelated acidity. Firm tannins on the longish finish.
This is a reliable, fruit forward, easy drinker. It improved over an hour of drinking.
