March 5, 2024 - Epic night at Capasso. Tasted blind. Drank in Gabriel Standart.
Appearance is clear, pale intensity, reddish pink colour. Thin legs. Frothy bubbles.
Nose is clean, medium+ intensity, with aromas of fruity expressive cherries, strawberries, fresh red apples, oyster-shell mineral undertow. Developing.
On the palate, dry, soft high acidity, medium- alcohol (12.5%), soft medium+ body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of fruity strawberries, peaches, red apples, red cherries, raspberry. Lovely long finish.
Very good quality. So fruity expressive on pop and pour already. Nothing shy at all here. Much unlike the 2008 Dom Pérignon Champagne.1 person found this helpful Comment -

February 15, 2024 - I drank the Lady Gaga limited edition 11 months ago. It was identical wine except for the packaging and label.
Medium rose gold, pink salmon color with fine, vigorous bubbles. Citrus, raspberry, unripe strawberry, white peach and nuts. Medium to medium-full bodied, high acidity, medium structure, medium alcohol and very long finish. Crisp, smooth and well-balanced.
Wine had evolved a little since 11 months ago. It had become a little rounder and felt less acidic on the palate; otherwise similar notes. Every time we popped open a bottle, it made everyone in the room festive. A true mood-lifting magic potion.2 people found this helpful Comment -

February 11, 2024 - Super Bowl LVIII 2024 (Alpharetta, GA): Starter wine #3: Once it was served at the right temperature, this was rocking and reconfirms how much I love Rose Champagne. Delicious!
