    December 25, 2020 - My 2300th rating! ????????

Deep garnet colour. Pronounced nose with dark plum, raisins, prune, dried figs, cinnamon, sweet tobacco and eucalyptus. Pronounced nose with raisins, prune, vanilla, sweet tobacco, dried figs, cinnamon and eucalyptus. Long and sweet finish. Medium acidity. Light tannins. Full body. A very good LBV that is well matured. Drink now. Goes well with chocolate based desserts and blue cheeses.

July 17, 2019 - Decanted for 20 minutes as it awakened, darkened and put on some weight. A reasonably pleasant LBV, but showing a bit too much acidity and a bit too much alcohol, along with a bit too little fruit, all probably due to its age. This bottle was a "give away" in an auction lot with several more serious vintage ports, so I didn't expect much. It did exceed those expectations, but not by much. If you have a bottle don't wait to open it.
I wish Renzetti's TN would have been a bit more expressive as to why this wine -- a bit over 6 months ago -- rated a 95.

March 20, 2010 - Was forgotten a bit in cellar Still going strong, good fruit, not oxidized. Great with dark chocolate.

December 24, 2004 - This was bottled in 2003. Decanted for three hours, was a bit closed when tried straight from the bottle, but opened up very well. Dark red colour, slightly developed. Strong, intensive nose of fruits, raisins, nuts, coffee and chocolate. Very full, sweet, alcoholic taste with spices. Very nice.

February 20, 2004 - Poured at a retailer tasting. Deep inky garnet color. Aromas of cassis and blackberry. Thick and viscous texture, with caramel and red fruit flavors on the palate.
