May 19, 2023 - Lovely and funky PN from renowned organic and biodynamic producer. Farmed from single vineyard, aged for 16 months in FR oak, 60% new, bottled unfined and unfiltered. Medium garnet colour. Intense aroma of strawberries, cherries, raspberries, dried cranberries, barnyard, leather, tar. Medium body, round and rich with silky and elegant texture, medium intensity flavours of earthy red fruits, medium acidity and light tannins.

January 2, 2023 - Opened on the last day of the new year holiday weekend. Beautiful, complex dried strawberry and vodka nose, light-bodied on the palate but with deep dark layers of red berries, infused with a slightly sweet edge of alcohol that was never present in this wine say 10 years ago. As global warning continues its slow but sure march across the winemaking regions of the world, pinot noir everywhere will change. Our taste buds better get used to it. Terrific wine; and as ever, our household favorite.

December 17, 2022 - No detailed notes. Sour cherry, natural wine meets burgundy. Some meatiness with more air. Seemed similar to the crown prince.

July 29, 2022 - Natural cork makes me think this Aussie is nervous and eager to please, almost all of the premiums use screwcap nowadays and rightly so. Never mind. Light cherry brick colour, very classic nose, restrained toasted forest fruits, wet undergrowth, benchmark Cote de Nuits. Light yet serious on the palate, caressingly smooth, plenty of fruits and savoury notes combined, finishing like a perfect boeuf bourguignon with sweet carrots and dark roasted beef. Yes. Not a single note is out of tune. Great value for each and every expensive buck. Wonderful.

May 19, 2022 - V good Tasmanian PN. Medium-ruby, unfiltered in appearance. Nose shines with ample red forest fruit, cherries, hints of pepper, smoke, lacks a bit of depth atm. Light+-bodied, really gentle tannins, lacking a bit of structure, decent acidity. Sweet-touch finish.
