  July 20, 2023 - A Good Wednesday: Riesling and Friends: Knoll, Prum, Schaefer, LdH, CRB Pif, Gahier... (Northen China Eatery): '03 showing here. Ripe. Low acid. Kind of flaccid. It's tasty-and a good foil to spicy sichuan-but there' just not much beyond the ripe fruit. Giving what it's got at this point.

  April 8, 2020 - 6th time I have had this wine and it has never disappointed. Terry Theise gave it his highest rating of +++. We paired this with some Burmese takeout. Still a light pale yellow color. An aromatic wine with hibiscus and pear aromas. On the palate there were notes of fine minerals, grapefruit, tangerine and tropical nuances. Still has solid acidity holding everything together with moderate sweetness on the finish. I have 1 more bottle which I will hold for a few more years. 93 points.

  June 21, 2018 - Fresh floral nose. Ripe pear, apple, citrus, slate and gingerbread palate. Not a lot of depth, but quite delicious. Probably at its prime right now.
