May 5, 2023 - Nose of red fruits and smoke. Shy bubbles.
Drank 3 times, and the last time was at the end of 2021. The wine continues its life on its maturity board. Touch of mouth full of freshness on crushed strawberries, then cinnamon and a touch of smoke, the whole is very elegant, complex and perfectly integrated. Fine juice with enormous length, as tireless as it is endless. The wine is very deep which was a little lacking until then in the previous bottles tasted. The combination of freshness/smoke/strawberry/spices is perfect and harmonious. Great finish with finesse on red fruits over a long length.
A great rosé champagne in this bottle, which is clearly ahead of the Dom Pé rosé 1996 drunk a few days earlier.1 person found this helpful Comment -

May 6, 2022 - En magnum, this wine had a lovely pink/tan color with persistent effervescence. The medium intensity nose featured strawberries, figs, and minerals.
In the mouth, this had a ton of flavor but was a touch short.
This was fun and ready to drink. There was no reason to postpone gratification, even in magnum format.
