October 16, 2023 - Popped and poured this first bottle of a case accidentally cellared this long ... the result is a deliciously happy accident … this has now reduced to a seductively soft morsel … still holding on to syrah characteristics while on a metamorphosis journey to Burgundy. What a gorgeous mistake.

January 9, 2021 - I drank a bottle of this about 6 months ago and felt it was past it’s prime having decanted it. This bottle I cracked and drank and it’s drinking really nicely. Blackcurrant, plum, brown sugar, spice & tobacco on the nose. The palate is smooth with good fruit, soft tannins and a little heat on the back palate. I’m digging it.
Day #2 and it’s still tasty but a lot of the body has disappeared. My advice is dont decant and drink it all day #1

September 2, 2019 - NobleRottersSydney - even year Shiraz (360 Bar & Dining, Sydney): [Kim] {screwcap, 14.5%} Immediate decant prior to drinking. Open, brambly, woody nose. Some pong, a bit leathery, and some vanilla/coconut, but not oaky. This might have suffered from following all these South Australia offerings but it was distinctly different, even if not terribly convincing! Some cool-climate spearmint on the palate, over the coconut. Low-key on the tongue, sitting a bit towards the front of the mouth, with low finely gritty tannins and about medium-bodied weight. Palate doesn’t quite live up to the nose; just seems to lack complexity. Not hot on the finish, but it might have been better picked earlier and drunk younger. Will doubtless keep, but there’s no need.

September 1, 2017 - Dark cherry, blackberry, black pepper and eucalypt. Big bodied wine for the region, still packed with fruit and structure after 11 years. Will easily see 2020 given the right cellar.
