November 7, 2008 - Loaded with spice and leather on the nose, big mouthful of red currant with some nutmeg on the finish. A little chewy, although it was poured out of the bottle and not decanted which would have helped to settle it down a little. Pleasantly generic but very drinkable and at the price point a nice "every day" wine.

August 2, 2008 - Very thin wine. some sour cherry and a slight tea component, but the alcohol is overwhelming and I don't think time will help.

June 28, 2008 - Backstreet distributors tasting - taste like cab, excellent example for $15 bucks.

April 19, 2008 - Nice tanzanite color leads to a nose of red fruit. Mouthfeel is pleasant with red fruits carring the body with some almost too sweet vanilla and spice. Tannins are sweet and short. While not overly complex, an enjoyable bottle of wine and a heck of a QPR for napa cab.
