March 19, 2017 - Great bottle this evening with grilled Salmon - even better than last year with more intensity, complexity and beautiful structure. Beautiful. As a side note I went back to read RP's tasting note, this has obviously moved towards a much more refined and delicate wine in it's mature stage but the purity and balance are definitely here. So much for all the haters who accused him of being all about big fruit extraction and alcohol and not appreciating Pinot Noir. He pretty much nailed this one!

July 31, 2016 - Nice nose of dark fruit and earth with dry autum leafs and some smokey notes, smooth and mature. Good extraction and sappiness. A nice effort that aged well and only got better as the evening progressed . This could actually be mistaken for a Savigny of about half the age from a warm vintage except maybe a tinge of sweetness of ripe fruit that creeps in. Nice finish and this is an over achiever that punches well above it's modest price.

September 12, 2010 - This is depressing...I only have one of these left. This has to be at peak (or near it). Cranberries, spice, salt on the nose. light, velvety, strawberry kiwi with blueberry edges in perfect balance. Nice acidity that feels natural. great.

May 22, 2010 - Excellent Pinot. Old world, burgundy flavors, black fruit followed by forest floor and excellent structure and length.

March 6, 2009 - A wonderful, highly perfumed nose of sappy red cherry, strawberry, rose petal, loamy earthy, a little mocha, a touch of rhubarb and Asian spices. Just fabulous delineation and complexity. On the palate this wine is a little less formed. Silky but a touch clenched and rough around the edges. A pleasing sappy, spicy finish with very good length and texture. Drinking very well but a couple more years could open the palate.

December 13, 2008 - Doug and Tina’s: This had great fruit, nice slightly aged notes with berries, blk berry tones, but very lush, a bit flabby, low acidity. Ohterwise grt flavors, and soft.

June 23, 2008 - Delightful nose of damp pine forest floor, strawberry, black raspberry, a touch of mocha, a little green olive and face powder note. Crisply focused on the palate with strawberry, fennel, menthol, spices and a touch of rhubarb. A long spicy finish, with menthol again evident. This wine continues to improve in the bottle and should have another 3-5 years of development.
