Encore beaucoup de structure à assouplir, mais magnifique bu sur plusieurs heures, évoluant continuellement. Superbe longueur. Plus austère que LE Pavillon dégusté en même temps. Très minéral. Très structuré. Beaucoup de temps devant...

October 2, 2021 - Deep dark colour, red/black rim.
Ink, cassis, plum, licorice, soy.
Super silky, absolute refinement, all across the palate to a long refined finish. Tannins and acidity superbly balanced. Dark berries, blueberry, licorice, graphite, ink and earth. Slighly jammy, with heat, and still with quite a lot of oak. Let this rest 5-10 years and hope for the best.

October 6, 2020 - Wine Night Commanderie @ GWC!: Cassis, currants, raspberries, slight meat funk, spices. This is drinking well now. Guessed this to be a Rhone and likely a Hermitage as I didn't pick up any cola notes. Enjoyed this tonight. Just entering into its drinking window IMO.
