July 26, 2021 - For traditional wine drinkers this is most comparable to a Beaujolais.
    Light, refreshing, chuggable.
And I mean chuggable in the sense that you don’t need to sip it or wait for it to hit the ideal temperature or even bother with decanting.
Straight up picnic wine, in my opinion.

This wine was served chilled so the nose was a little hard to get a read on other than strawberries and a little barnyard funk. Strawberry and watermelon were the dominant flavors.
    Ephemeral finish.
On a hot July evening I found this to be a pleasant alternative to the usual Rose’ wines on restaurant lists.

The downside, for me anyway, is that by the second glass I couldn’t help but feel like I was drinking Mixed Berry Kool-aid with a kicker of grain alcohol.
It simply didn’t feel like wine as I’ve known it for decades.
