April 3, 2024 - Floral start with ripe lemon, candied lemon peel, lemon curd, and a touch of green apple. Lots here for the price. Wonderfully bright all the way through its long-ish finish.

June 8, 2023 - Eight months after the prior: Again lovely suggestions of field hay. Generous, but balanced, with lively acidity. Very enjoyable over three nights.

April 17, 2023 - Domaine Vacheron Dinner (Swift & Sons, Chicago IL): Apple, pear, and quince with faint floral notes, this then brings out lemon and lemon zest notes and then some more with even more air. Certainly good density and length. A great value wine.

    January 23, 2023 - Light yellowish color
Smells on lemon, whiute fruit, flowers, note of pepper and herb
the mouth is fresh, bright with volume. Long final with a little bitterness

January 1, 2023 - Had the 2019 a few months ago and it was lacking acidity and Sancerre character so drank the 2020 younger. Very similar - a little mineral but overall soft. Started with yellow fruit type flavours, apple after an hour or so. Like the 2019, felt more like a Chardonnay. Nice, but not what I want from a Sancerre, esp. at the QPR.

October 16, 2022 - This is delicious. Pale. Crisp, bright, fresh citrus fruit - lemon / lime - framed in vibrant acid. Served perhaps too cool so not showing much complexity and likely less broad than when warmer. But the length is there, with a further jolt of acid on the back end adding to the persistence. And some pleasant green notes show up late. Refreshing. Totally fit for purpose.

August 20, 2022 - When Vacheron delivers they deliver, given a great vintage and Vacheron will knock it out of the park (2019) unfortunately it looks like 2020 will not be one of those vintages. This felt slightly more round with orchard fruits, saline texture and significantly less precision and chalkiness compred to 2019. This felt less Sancerre like and more Chardonnay like. Also with an increase in price of 15% I don’t plan to buy any more. 90 points however quite disappointed
