November 27, 2022 - Still in great shape with everything in place for a mature Bdx, will last but should be drank within a few years..

November 12, 2022 - Base neck fill. Lots of mold on cork but came out easily. Double decanted. Pretty color, not too much bricking. This bottle was in great shape. Nose is really nice with cedar, tobacco, etc. The palate has pretty cherry notes and earth. Really nice.

November 3, 2022 - Struck us with great astonishment.
Was expecting something good, but not all the way to the Seventh Heaven…

This is better than most vintages of all the most famous Bdx...

The cork was completely saturated with signs of cepage and a very moldy top.
    Color: maturing Bdx.

Nose: a sniffer wine for those who enjoy that kind of thing. All the greatness of all good Bdx traits are here. The cedar wood aromas would most certainly take many of us (blind-tasting) to the west bank.

Mouth: This is an amazing Bdx with gravitas and perfection in every nook and cranny. Everything from the nose is here, plus blackcurrant, sour cherry, blueberry, mossy earth, latex, burnt match (not the sulfur) and more. I especially want to emphasize that the tobacco aromas with the cedar were a pleasure to try to keep in the mouth. The acids are resilient, the fruit both lean and luscious, and it is intense as ph*ck and the tannins feel as if they have only made about half the journey yet.
    Crazy good bottle!

Price tag: under a €100 in select shops in Europe!!!

    -----------------------------------

Allt bra i all bra Bdx här.
    Tokskalligt bra flaska!
Kostar under tusenlappen runt om i Europa!!!

October 25, 2022 - Right Bank vs Left Bank Bordeaux Through the Decades (Charlotte, NC): Slo-ox for 90 minutes prior to serving. Aromatic nose of rustic strawberries. Soft and fully resolved tannins on the palate – velvet mouthfeel. Delicious red fruits, richly aged cherries. A tasty, elegant and gentle wine. Savory finish. This is a wine to be consumed in more isolation to really enjoy the many nuances. Stellar showing.

May 30, 2022 - Supple, round, lush, soft, polished, and loaded with ripe, sweet, plums, black cherry, licorice, and forest leaf, along with a touch of cigar wrapper and crushed stone. Fully mature, there is no reason to hold off from popping a cork.
