October 2, 2002 - Smells acidic and mature. Hint of orange in the body and translucent at the rim. Bit funky and a touch floral. Candy, raspberry bubblegum. Lingering red fruit. Medium-full bodied with decent balance. Interesting, but more of an experiment than a wine to sit down and enjoy. Seemed to pair well with a grilled calamari dish with polenta. Go figure.
