September 22, 2022 - Rich yet light golden color. Some honey in the nose but also a touch of sweet pickle. Quite sweet tho soft with a somewhat bitter aftertaste. Lots of glycerine, but I wish it possessed more acidity! (Has it undergone malolactic conversion?) Perhaps it's just going thru an awkward phase. Worth holding onto for a year or two to see how it develops. In some ways I like the Pascal Janvier Vin de France Chenin Blanc better because it's drier.

June 1, 2022 - Outstanding aperitif. Potpourri bouquet. Charged viscosity. Balanced but not designed for food as it’s mouthwatering but not crisp. The acidity is cushioned. In the end, though disparate, the components work in harmony. Serve young and cold.

April 27, 2022 - Quite disappointing when compared to previous years (2006,2012,2016,2018). No acid, unbalanced, actually flabby.

March 12, 2022 - I always find that Janvier's wines are pleasant enough but not particularly thrilling, and this was no exception. A good companion to cheese before dinner, with slight sweetness and good weight to the chenin fruit. Nice; no more, no less.
