May 23, 2020 - Last bottle. Cork very soft and disintegrated upon extraction. Decanted to remove sludge. Deep magenta with a trace of garnet on the thinning rim. Trademark dusty, dried plummy nose of older OL. Also hints of cedar, tobacco, dried cranberry and maraschino cherry. Medium full bodied. Good fruit extraction that is sweet, ripe, red and black. Black plum, dried mulberry and pencil shavings and astringent strong tea tannins on the finish that is nicely balanced between fruit, tannin and acid. Quite a nice showing for this wine IMO. A solid 91 points. I would say this is starting to fade and dry out a bit so drink up.

October 25, 2019 - Utterly classic, cool climate bottle of claret. Shows bold dark red fruit, with excellent beams of refreshing acidity, and fine tannins that have mellowed with aging. While there are green edges to its red fruit, it’s something I happen to love in my Bordeaux, and while the assemblage would suggest a Merlot based wine, it’s really the place that seems to shine through with this wine. What a beauty. Funny enough, I suggested we skip this bottle as we had so many to drink on the night, so lucky I was outvoted. Will gladly buy any bottles available.

October 13, 2018 - Garnet red with a dark ruby core. Long, slow, abundant legs. Feral nose of iron, meat, rosehip, dried hibiscus, dried blackberries and a touch of cedar bark. Juicy dried black fruit on the palate, black currant, blackberry and a pleasant almost mineral edge on the finish. Good acidity keep things crisp and there are still some sandy tannins on the finish. Very, very well made and delicious.
