January 1, 2024 - This needs some air, but was already approachable after an hour in a decanter, and got better and better after that. Limpid deep ruby color, lifted, floral nose with some tarry undertones, and lively acidity with deep-pitched fruit on the palate. Excellent with food, this is great for everyday drinking and has an outstanding QPR.

August 16, 2023 - Barolo 2018 (Bottega Coco): Tar, red over black plum. Medium plus intensity acidity, drying tannins are grippy persistent and tight, slightly riper than the other wines here. Very nice.

January 11, 2023 - Solid nebbiolo as expected. It definitely needs aeration or a few more years in the bottle as tannins are still grippy. The colour is darker than average. There is some complexity here and a very satisfying finish. Way above average and nice vfm.
