May 25, 2019 - Popped and poured. Color: Golden yellow, with hints of amber starting to show. On the nose restrained pear, honey beeswax, creme brulee. Palate apricots, peaches pears with light acidity. Lots of peaches and cream characteristics. Resilient but not quite the depth and swath I was looking for. Seems a little dormant. Private Preserved and put in refrigerator for the following weekend.

March 5, 2019 - The missus drank. She enjoyed the fruit but doesn't have too much to add.

July 13, 2018 - Lifted honey, melon and marzipan on nose; similar notes to the flavour, but the wine has lost much of its acidity and hence its definition. To some palates this may not matter, but I found the wine, though of very good quality, a little one dimensional and sweet.

December 20, 2013 - Confraria Dezembro 2013 (Agnelo - São Paulo - SP - Brasil): Good wine. However, there is an imbalance between acidity and sweetness, with prominence of the latter.

February 13, 2013 - Outstanding stuff! Rich with apricots, honey, peach, spices and minerals. Very long finish and should age for a few decades.

June 24, 2011 - From a split. Light golden colour. Very mineral-driven nose, with notes of stone fruits, and perhaps some ripe apple notes as well. This is quite sweet for an auslese, and there are notes of canned peach syrup and wildflower honey. There's less fruit on the palate than I would like; it seems a little bit sweet and cloying. Texturally, there's something here that reminds of peaches and cream.

August 16, 2010 - Twin Cities Wine Club German Riesling Tasting (Gail's House): A super Auslese. Honey, apricots, floral and peach dominate on this off-dry wine. Good complexity and the finish is lively with good acidity and ripe fruits. Highly recommended wine.
